Ever heard of the Twinkie diet?
No kidding, it’s a real thing!
You can lose weight only eating processed foods! It’s true, and Twinkies are about as processed as processed foods come.
But here is the kicker, you only get to eat about 8-9 twinkies per day. Nothing else! NADA! Well, maybe we could throw in some water too. 8-9 twinkies do not equal very much actual food. You could eat 8-9 twinkies in one sitting if needed. If professional eater Joey Chestnut can eat 121 in six minutes, you could do eight.
After that, its water for the rest of the day as you wait for your next round of Twinkies tomorrow. How sustainable do you think the Twinkie diet is? Don’t answer that, it’s a rhetorical question.
Honestly, you can lose weight on any diet as long as you keep your calories in check. This doesn’t mean your body won’t rebel against you making you “hangry” and craving everything that moves but you will lose weight.
