As gym goers we love movement for a lot of reasons. It feels good to be strong, flexible and independent. Most of us already know that exercise is helpful for mental health. We can promote this even further by encouraging additional, low stress exercise away from the gym.

Doing something as simple as going for a 10 minute walk or bike ride can decrease overall levels of tension, elevate and stabilize mood, improve sleep, and mitigate anxiety.
