Today our discussion is centered around the effects that caffeine and other stimulants have on our ability and sleep quality.
The effects of caffeine may last for several hours after ingestion. Caffeine can fragment sleep, and cause difficulty initiating sleep. If you drink caffeine, establish a cut-off time each day (noon or early afternoon). Remember, as sleep quality increases our reliance on caffeine is likely to decrease!
Remember that some sodas and teas contain caffeine as well.
Add notes on this to your sleep journal!
